该钻机具有钻进快、取样深、操作简单、携带轻便等特点，可以应对各种复杂地质、增加劳动效率、降低劳动成本，适用于野外交通不便位置的地质勘探、石油勘测、矿物考察、建筑取样、爆破钻孔等工作。可以有效的替代中型岩芯钻机的浅层岩芯取样勘探工作。
